This hotel was built in 2003 and consists of 5 floors and a total of 475 rooms of which 381 are double rooms, 30 are single rooms and 50 are suites. Amongst the extensive facilities count a 24-hour reception desk, 6 lifts, a hairdresser's salon, a salon bar, an air-conditioned restaurant with separate non-smoking area and highchairs for infants and a public Internet terminal.

The hotel is located in a newly establish holiday resort along the cliffed coastline and offers fabulous panoramic views out over the sea. The light sand bay is approximately 1.2 km away and may be reached by crossing the coastal road. Alternatively, there is a complimentary shuttle bus service that runs to the beach throughout the day. There is a good selection of shopping and entertainment venues on offer in the centre of Puerto Rico that lies some 2 km away. Public transport links are located just 100 metres from the hotel.

In the well-maintained outdoor complex are 2 swimming pools (one of which has a Jacuzzi corner) with children's pools, a pool restaurant, sun loungers and parasols. Furthermore, the hotel offers use of its solarium, participation in aerobics courses, table tennis courts, a beach volleyball court and a multi-purpose sports pitch (for tennis, 5-a-side football, basketball, tennis racket and ball hire). Various water sports are on offer from local providers on Puerto Rico beach. There is also a daily entertainment programme with evening shows to provide some various for guests.
