Canaries Aparthotels are an excellent choice for families, groups and couples looking for extra self contained space, whilst retaining a hotel service. Aparthotels or Apartment Hotels in the Canaries are graded one to four keys. Great for families, there's often restaurants and bars either adjacent or on the complex site, however a self catering option will be available, keeping the price down and offering greater flexibility!
Many Canaries aparthotels are large leisure village complexes, with a choice of swimming pools and numerous facilities such as kids clubs, entertainment, restaurants, bars, and extensive gardens in which to roam. Facilities in apartments and studios within aparthotels offer that little bit extra than hotels, with kitchenette, dining area, safety deposit, fridge/mini bar, air conditioning as standard and satellite tv all offered. You'll usually have either a balcony or terrace too.
The big benefit of choosing an apartment, bungalow, villa or studio within a Canaries aparthotel is space, but also flexibility. You'll have restaurants, bars and leisure facilities all on-site, but you've the choice to do either self catering or to hook into these faciltiies on a B&B, half board or full board basis. Canaries Aparthotels are great for groups of friends, or families with older children looking for that little bit extra flexibility to do their own thing, rather than opting for an all inclusive hotel package.
Canary Islands Aparthotels are numerous in the top Canaries resorts, and are particularly popular with families and groups as they offer a mini apartment with all the facilities and amenities of a hotel such as leisure facilities, restaurants and swimming pools. Aparthotels usually offer a choice of studio flats or small apartments, with kitchenette facilities, sitting and dining rooms areas and bedrooms. The advantage is very much to do with space. Bathrooms will be well equipped, air conditioning standard and most will include a balcony or terrace.
Tenerife and Canaries Aparthotels often have the feel of mini complexes or villages, with apartments and studios built around swimming pools, gym, restaurant, bar and reception area. Your getting a hotel service, but accommodation will be more spacious, with more flexibility to do your own thing with kitchenette and dining areas!
Expect a little extra on the facilities and amenities side in apartments and studios within aparthotels. Such extras include safety deposit boxes, terrace/balcony, and money exchange and laundry service on-site.
Perfect for families, aparthotels are often large leisure complexes offering in-house entertainment, kids clubs, a choice of swimming pools, fully equipped apartments and studios with Satellite TVs and mini bars/fridges. Many of the older Canary Islands aparthotels in well established resorts such as Los Cistianos, Las Americas, Puerto del Carmen and Puerto Rico and Playa del Ingles have been recently refurbished, and some of the newer aparthotels built after 2000 (particularly around Lanzarote and Fuerteventura resorts) are smaller in size, more specialist and luxurious and offering extra luxuries such as internet access, plus all the usual kids clubs, choice of swimming pools and entertainment.
