This excursion starts at Los Cancajos, passing through historic Santa Cruz de la Palma, crossing over the county of Puntallana until arriving at the Mirador de San Bartolo (views of the coastline and of the local flora are available on-route). Afteer a stop herer we make our way to the forest of Los Tilos (declared a Biosphere World Reserve by UNESCO), and here we take a walk for about an hour. We continue on to the county of Los Sauces where a brief stop is made at the village. From there, on to Charco Azul, taking a short walk to Puerto Espindola and then on to San Andres. This tour then returns to the resort pickup points.
This La Palma tour departs from Puerto Naos on the west coast to Santa Cruz de la Palma by way of the La Cumbre road until we reach the county of Puntallana. On this excursion we visit the same spots as the excursion leaving from Cancajos to Santa Cruz de la Palma.
This excursion begins in Brena Baja at 9.45 am heading in the direction of Santa Cruz de la Palma via El Barrio de la Encarnacion, and with views of the Barco de la Virgen. The route continues to La Dehesa and the Santuario de Nuestra Senora de las Nieves. After a short stop we make our way to the county of El Paso by the La Cumbre road, visiting the Mirador de la Cumbrecita (partial views of the Caldera de Taburiente). On to Fuencaliente we will make a brief stop at the Mirador de las Indias from where the San Antonio and the Teneguia (the youngest volcano on the island) can be seen.
We then take a visit to the Molino de Mazo, where you can see La Palma ceramics being made, and from here we start to make our way back.
Departing from Maritimo this tour heads towards Puerto Naos to pick up guests, then on to the Aridane valley and the Las Angustias ravine, in the borough of Punta Gorda, followed by San Antonio del Monte. We then visit the spectacular La Zarza y La Zarcita Park where we start to climbe to the Roque de Los Muchachos, the site of the Astrological Centre. There will be time to admire an impressive view of the Taburiente caldera and the northern part of the island. We then return to the Fuente Olen pine grove. In the afternoon, before our return trip, we will visit the La Concepcion vantage point. Lunch is not included in this tour and guests are requested to take their own picnic lunch.
This La Palma island tour departs from the Hotel Princess at 8.30am where guests are picked up from the Hotel Princess. We will then visit Los Cancajos to pick up the rest of our guests and enjoy a full day touring La Palma's spectacular landscape and many points of interest. Special points of interest are a visit to the Plaza de Espana, the balconies on the seafront promenade, followed by the La Galga vantage point, Bosque de Los Tilos and the little coastal village of San Andres, the dragon trees of Barlovento (Las Toscas vantage point), the Gallegos and Franceses ravines, Garafia, the Tijarafe ravines, a view of the Aridane valley and the Las Angustias ravine from the El Time vantage point, and the lava rivers from the San Juan volcano in Las Manchas.
In the south of La Palma we can admire the Fuencaliente volcano region and the lava rivers on the southern part of the island. We will then return, arriving at approximately 7.30pm. Lunch is not included in this tour and guests are requested to take their own picnic lunch.
Take the south excursion combining the two areas, this tour departs from Puerto Naos by the La Cumbre road in the direction of Cancajos. From there we head towards Santa Cruz de la Palma, then continue through the Barrio de la Encarnacion with views of the Barco de la Virgen. We carry on towards Velhoco with a visit to the sanctuary of Nuestra Senora de las Nieves. Also we visit the Molino de Mazo, where we can see local ceramics being made.
The tour then moves on to Fuencaliente where we make a brief stop at the Mirador de las Indias, from where the San Antonio and Teneguia volcanoes can be seen. After this stop we make our way towards El Paso (a one hour's stop for lunch is taken here). We finally get to the Mirador de la Cumbrecita. After this we return to the hotels.
Once clients have been picked up, we head towards the San Juan volcano, driving up through the Barrio de Todoque, then continuing across the region of Fuencaliente (a short walk to visit the San Antonio volcano). After this we visit the Molino de Mazo, a place where you can see local ceramics being made. We then carry on across the counties of San Antonio, Brena Baja and Santa Cruz de la Palma.
Afterwards we go up through the Barrio de la Encarnacion in order to see the Barco de la Virgen. The route continues towards the sanctuary of Nuestra Senore de las Nieves. We stop for lunch for about an hour. The route then continues along the El Paso road where we will visit the Mirador de la Cumbrecita (panoramic views of the Caldera de Taburiente can be seen from here), descending to the region of Los Lanos de Aridane and then back to Puerto Naos where the excursion ends.
