We're into the land of Caleta de Fuste new suburb resorts here at Costa de Antigua, and just to the north of Costa de Antigua new pristine resort Nuevo Horizonte. Costa de Antigua (so called cause it's nicely connected to its inland cousin Antigua via the FV-413) is one of quite a few recently developed resorts on Fuerteventura.
As with most off-shot new resorts, Costa de Antigua is the quieter base, situated within easy access of Caleta de Fuste just 1km away to the south.
It's slowly building up a little hub, this calm and tranquil Fuerteventura base. If you decide to base yourself here on Fuerteventura you can expect a tidy and pleasant beach - a mini version of Caleta de Fuste's beach. Indeed a nice cliff top walk will connect you to Caleta de Fuste. More building is planned here, mostly in the form of villas!
You're just 10 to 15 minutes away from Fuerteventura Airport at Costa Antigua. It's a good, central base on Fuerteventura for exploring the island by hire car particularly. Access the interior of the island easily via the FV-413 to Antigua, and north to Puerto del Rosario (just 10-12 minutes away) and beyond to Corralejo via the FV-1.
Costa de Antigua is a good choice for holiday makers looking to get away from it all. It's a low key resort, with a scattering of bars and basic resort amenities. You're close to good golf courses here too! Easy coastal walking connects Nuevo Horizonte and Costa Antigua with Caleta de Fuste.
