Patalavaca, much like Amadores, Playa de la Verga and Taurito, falls into the category of smaller off-shot from the main resorts - in this case Puerto Rico. It sits conveniently between Puerto Rico and the fishing harbour of Arguineguin, and serves as a quiet Gran Canaria resort base within easy access of the hussle and bustle of Puerto Rico.
Patalavaca is a developing Gran Canaria resort with a more than reasonable sandy beach. It's ideally placed near the Anfi Tauro Golf resort and manmade Anfi white sandy beach too, so golf fans are well placed here. Other features in this cosy resort include a beach promenade and choice of good quality 3 and 4 star hotels, with some apartments and villas also available.
Ample restaurants and low key laidback bars can also be found in Patalavaca. It's a quiet and calm resort, but its position in the centre of Puerto Rico and Puerto Rico affords easy access to both should you want a little lively action.
