As well as the many sailing, yacht hire, big game fishing and glass bottom boat trips available and easily accessed at Lanzarote's main resorts and Puerto Calero Marina, it's easy to take a day trip to Fuerteventura. The ferry from Playa Blanca to the south of Lanzarote docking at Corralejo, North Fuerteventura takes just 12 minutes (according to the leaflet), but in reality it's more like 30 minutes. It's quick and easy though, and many holidaymakers do the trip to take in the stunning beaches and pretty resort of Corralejo (or if you take your hire car on the ferry - pushing out into Fuerteventura or over to El Cortillo for some excellent kite surfing!).
Another highly recommended boat trip in Lanzarote is the trip over to sublime Isla Graciosa just off north Lanzarote. Ferry boats leave from Orzola daily (see below for details) and on Isla Graciosa beautiful beaches, good surfing and superb walks await!
