Tenerife Tourism Guide - Los Gigantes

Despite the massive amount of building that's been going on here in Los Gigantes over the last few decades (it's still going on and they continue to built higher into the mountains) it retains a quaint fishing village vibe. The marina area is particularly attractive and the views of the Los Gigantes Giants - the Acantilados de los Gigantes - cliffs which plunge into the sea, taking your breath away.

Los Gigantes is also one of the best locations on Tenerife for diving, marine live is extensive around the coast here, with numerous top diving sites. Masca & the Teno Mountains

Set in the heart of the stunning Teno mountains in the north west of Tenerife (the roads are windy round here, but most certainly worth the effort for the spectacular views!), Masca is a walker's paradise. Choose from a wide range of guided walking tours, some of which arrive by boat from Los Gigantes, and you'll walk up from the coast towards Masca.

Stunningly set, Masca has a fascinating small archeological museum and numerous surrounding trails. Together with the Anarga mountains to the north east of Tenerife, the Teno range are the oldest part of the island and offer one of the most captivating landscapes across the Canaries - don't miss either an excursion tour round this area of Tenerife, or head out in the hire car! Pretty Masca makes an idyllic stopping off point in your tour of Teno.
